How to Refund an Order
Confirm
Confirm that the order is eligible for a refund (within the return window of time, etc).
If so, let the customer know it can be refunded back to the same credit card it was originally purchased on.
Make sure that credit card is not closed or expired.
Issue the Refund
Login to Metorik. Search for the customer and locate the specific order.
Notice Payment method.
Click on the order number.
Confirm the item being refunded is in this order.
Click on Edit Order.

This will take you directly into WooCommerce where the refund can be processed.
Confirm you see the item to be refunded.
Click on Refund.

Click on the Quantity to refund or type in the amount. (This screenshot is for demonstration only as it is for $0.)
Then click Refund (thru Stripe or refund PayPal).
The Refund Manually button will not actually refund them. It will just update our system to show it has been refunded. This would be used if the refund was done directly to Stripe or a check was mailed to the customer.
Put a note on the account (upper right side) where it says Add note.

Send back a ticket and let the customer know the refund will be back on their card in 5-7 business days.
