Creating a Manual Order
1.) New Order with Paid Purchase
Direct the customer to make the purchase through the online store at: https://discoverhealing.com/store or on the appropriate landing page.
This will ensure that the correct tax and shipping will be added, and payment is taken correctly.
Also, all automation, memberships, support emails, etc. will be set up properly.
If absolutely needed, you can login to the site as that customer and complete the purchase through the store for her while on the phone.
2.) New Order for Free Gift or Bonus Only
Login to WooCommerce.
At the top left of the window select "Add order."
The new order screen contains the 5 separate section seen below. For entering in a new order the instruction will only be referring to the "Customer Information" and "Order Lines" sections.
Complete the following steps to enter a new order with Free Bonus or Gift only.
1. Enter the order status. The default status is "Pending payment" which means that the payment has not gone through the payment gateway yet. This order will not need a payment since it is a free bonus or gift, so these amounts will be zero.
2. If the customer is already in the system, you can search for them using this field. This will automatically fill in the Billing and Shipping addresses. If the user is not in the system you can add them using the "Users" section of WordPress or choose "Guest" and manually enter the information.
3 & 4. If you added the user to the system while in the middle of adding an order you can click "Load billing address" or "Load shipping address" and it will automatically fill in the information. Otherwise manually fill it in.
The "Order Lines" are pretty easy to navigate.
1. To begin adding lines to the order select "Add item(s)."
2. If there is a coupon code to apply to the order select "Apply coupon."
3. After selecting "Add Item(s)" select "Add product(s)" and then search and add the products for the orders.
4. Once all products, shipping, and fees are added, click "Recalculate" to get access to proper line totals. On free bonus orders, the amounts will be zero.
After all of the above is completed, select "Create" for the Order Actions section.
The new order is created!!!
