Instructions for Setting Up New User Contextual Help in Screensteps
Go to Account > Users at https://discoverhealing.screenstepslive.com/admin/
Click on Account > Users.
Click + Invite Single User
Send this info (or something similar) to the person via email:
I am setting up everyone with Screensteps to access instructions and policies that may be helpful to you while working. You will be able to access these articles directly from the pages you are using right when you need them.
First, you'll need to login to Screensteps. I am sending you an email invitation from ScreenSteps User Account Info. Click on the link under Configuring your desktop software.
Use DiscoverHealing as the account name.
Use your email address as your user name.
Create your own password.
Second, set up contextual help. Instructions are found at https://help.screensteps.com/a/785680-installing-the-chrome-extension
Please let me know when you have successfully logged into ScreenSteps and have the Chrome Extension installed. If you need any help, call me on Cliq!
Have the person go into a page where we have a contextal help channel already set up.
Confirm that they see the bell icon on the right margin and can access articles.
For example: There is a channel setup in Podio > Company Team workspace <https://podio.com/healerslibrarycom/company-wide-announcements--msgs> so while on that page, you should see the bell icon on the right margin.
When the bell is clicked, a search window appears where articles can be found.
