How to Work with Zoho Connect Task Cards

When a task is assigned to you through Zoho Connect, it will be on a Task Card.

If you are given the direct link to the task card, click it and the task card details will open up.

If you don't have the direct link to the task, go to the particular board where the task card is. Find the correct column for your assignments. Click on the heading at the top of the task card to open it up.

View the details of the assignment at the top.

If a file is needed, the link to it will either be in the instructions or in the link field.

Settings on the right side will indicate a deadline or priority if selected.

A mulit-faceted project will sometimes have a checklist.

If so, check the circle to the left of each part to indicate it is completed.

If there is an attachment needed to complete the project, or if you have an attachment related to the task, click "Add Attachments" button and upload the file.

All actions for this task are recorded under Activities below.

Use the Comments tab to record information related to the task such as:

  • Your progress
  • Questions you have
  • Amount of time used to finish a subsection part of the task
  • Stopping point while taking a break (like at which subsection or timestamp you stopped)
  • Ideas or suggestions

Type directly into the field called "Your thoughts on this..."

To send a notification to a specific person, use @ before their name and select their name.

Type your message and click on Post.

Your message will be saved and your co-worker will receive a notification.

If you need to reply to a message from another person, click on reply directly under their message. Type your response below and click Post.

If you want the other person to know you read the message without sending a message, you can use Like.

Keep track of the task's progress by using the settings at the top. Click the dropdown next to Open for options.
