Overview
The language dropdown menu is in the upper right. Choose the target language. (English is the default.)
Use Swap to Editor View option at the bottom to begin reviewing and editing.
Make Selection
Choose what you will review first from the upper horizontal menu. Choose Body Code, Belief Code, or Systems.
The Systems option allows you to edit Section Headers and all of the Charts (the Emotion Code Chart included), plus Modals found within the Belief Code.
Use the Edit icon to begin editing the Section Header on that line.
Make the correction directly in the red box.
If a change has been made, you will see a "Modified" under Status.
To edit Charts, select Charts and then from the dropdown, choose the specific one you will edit. Notice that the Emotion Code Chart appears in this list of options to edit. There are 12 total Charts. In a similar way, use the edit icon to change the individual elements on a Chart.
Modals found in the Belief Code are edited from the Modals option.
Tip: Compare with English
You may find it easier to compare the target language with English as you work. You can do this a couple of different ways:
1. See the languages side by side as you work.
To do this, you will need to open 2 separate windows. They need to be different browsers, or in the same browser but one incognito. (For example, one could be in Chrome, and the other in Safari. Or both are in Chrome but one is incognito.)
In one of the windows have the beta App appear in English, and in the other show the target language.
While referring to the English one, edit and save in the one showing the target language.
Confirm your edits are saved.
OR
2. Switch languages in the beta App as you work.
You may switch the language back to English on any page to reference the source text the translations were generated from.
Just be sure any edits are saved before switching languages. If the language does not change immediately, refresh the page at upper left.
Edit Node Title
For Body Code or Belief Code editing, when another language is chosen, the Nodes will all change to that language.
When first opened, the Course View will be shown.
To make edits, use the link at the bottom to Swap to Editor View.
(Click Swap to Course View to go back. Note: Course view does not show edits you have made until they have been published by an administrator.)
In Editor View, click on the editing icon in the node you wish to edit.
An Edit Node box will appear.
Make the correction and click Save.
Repeat as needed so all Node Titles are correct.
Edit Node Tiers
Next, click the Title of the Node.
This will allow you to edit the content inside that node on the next tier level.
The next tier of the Body Code will appear as more Titles on that tier.
Repeat the process for confirming and editing where needed.
To navigate back out, use the breadcrumbs at the top. Just click on where you want to go.
Editing Text at the End Nodes
If edits are needed at the End Node page, click on the Edit button in the upper right for that page.
Each of the sections will appear in a separate box.
Click on the edit icon for the section where the change is needed.
This puts the text content into editing mode.
Scroll in the content box to see all of the text.
Make necessary changes.
Click the Red Save button.
Use the breadcrumbs to go back one tier in order to check the remaining content.
Remember to save your edits for each section.
Confirm that your changes appear in the content box.
Caution
DO NOT CLICK on the up/down arrow buttons next to the edit icon button the upper right of the End Node page. Doing so will change the order of the End Node sections on that page.
This is what you should NOT CLICK.
Use Systematic Method
Continue quality checking and making corrections using a systematic method so nothing is forgotten and all items are confirmed correct.
Save all edits as they are made.
