Automation for bullet points/ phrases that appear one at a time

1. Visual Check

Place the target language slide next to the English slide to compare them.
They should look very similar, but there may be more lines on one of them, since some words take more space in one language over the other.

Click on the text box area of each.

Click on Animate. This will show the number of animations that will appear and their order.

Although they may look the same, the target language slide may not be the same as the English slide.

2. Confirm Automation

On the English slide, click in the text box area with bullet points/ phrases.

Click on Animate.

Click on Preview. Watch the order of phrases as they appear.

Repeat the process on the target language slide. Watch the order of phrases as they appear.

If phrases appear in the same order as the English slide shows, you are done with this slide. (It is saved automatically. See message at top.)

If phrases do not appear in the correct order, editing is necessary.

3. Editing to Fix Problem

A phrase that wraps to the line below needs to be edited to ensure it appears at the correct time with its group.

Place curser in front of the first word on the second line of the phrase. Delete spaces until the word appears on the line above.

Use SHIFT RETURN at the place where the words need to go onto the second line.

Indent 3 spaces. (All wrapped phrases will be indented 3 spaces for ease in reading.)

4. Confirm automation

After editing, confirm automation to ensure the correct outcome.
