Approving a Blog Submission

Once you change the "Status" to "Approved," several things take place AUTOMATICALLY:

  1. An email is immediately sent to the writer, letting them know the post has been approved
  2. The pertinent information is sent to a Draft Post in Wordpress
  3. The URL to the Draft Post is posted back to the Blog Submission (refresh to see it)
  4. The "Status" is changed to "Drafted"
  5. A Task is created for the Blog Manager to review the post and Publish it.

Before you mark a Blog Submission as APPROVED, there are a number of items you should check-off to make sure it really is ready to be posted to the blog. Here is the list:
