Get approval from the executive team to proceed on setting up the affiliate product.

Gather needed information from the affiliate contact person and keep track of it on the google sheet at:

This google sheet will provide a quick view of affiliate product info, but the Affiliate Agreement (below) will spell out more detail.

These items must be listed on the "Affiliate Product Information for DH Store" google sheet:

- Affiliate contact name and phone/email address

- Name of product

- Image of product

- Description of product

- Link to be used in the Discover Healing store that will send customers to other site to purchase product

- Instructions from affiliate company for setting it up (contact for  affiliate company IT person, special code, etc.)

Have DH affiliate coordinator (Customer Support Manager) work out commission details with the affiliate contact person, using a written agreement to be kept in a digital file. 

The agreement  should include:

- Link that will be used in the store to direct customers to the buy page on other site

- Amount of commission (as a percentage of sales)

- Specified date of each month when commissions & sales report details (customer info, products sold, etc.) will be sent to Discover Healing

- How payment will be sent to Discover Healing (so Bookkeeper can track)

- Expected length of time for orders to be shipped to customers by affiliate company's warehouse

- Affiliate company's Customer Support contact info for purchasers who have questions

- Any other special instructions specific to that product

Provide all of the necessary info to the IT Manager so the affiliate product with link, image, and description can be added to the DH store. Share the google sheet link with IT Manager.

The product should only be published (viewable to public) after it is tested, and announcement has been made.

- Run a test order on the product to confirm it is working.

- Use a promo code to zero out the cost.

- Cancel the order so it will not ship.

Let these people know of the new affiliate product:

- Bookkeeper (Provide details about receiving commissions. Share the google sheet with Bookkeeper.)

- Staff (Make announcement during Discover Healing weekly Huddle meeting.)

- Newsletter announcement and/or email to customers
