How to Post a Video on YouTube
1. Go to http://Youtube.com and log into the account where you wish to post your video. (In this example, we will be using [email protected] as a reference.)
Once logged in, it should look similar to this.

2. In the upper right, there is an icon; a silhouette resembling a video camera with a “+” in the center. This is the “Create” button.

3. Click on the “Create” button, and a small dropdown menu will appear. Click on “Upload Video”.

4. Welcome to the back end of your YouTube channel. Here, you can create, upload, and manage your channel content. To upload a video, follow the prompt, and click on “Select Files”.

5. A new finder window will appear. Use this window to search for the video file you wish to upload, and click “Open”. (In this example, we have chosen a bookend clip.)

6. A new prompt window will have appeared, which will allow you to choose settings for the post. Begin by giving your post a title and a description.

7. Next, your post will need a thumbnail. You can select an image for upload, or you can use a frame from the video itself.
Choose whatever other specifications may be necessary and once done, click “Next”.

8. On the video elements section of the prompt, you can determine whether to add a subtitle file, cards, or an end screen. None are required, but subtitles are recommended.

9. YouTube inspects content to protect its users from copyright litigation. If the video passes inspection, click “Next”. If not, double check the video, or contact your supervisor.

10. Choose to post your video as private, public, or unlisted (as needed).

11. Choose a publication date.

12. Inspect to ensure the video title, thumbnail, and publication date are correct.

13. You are done. You may now view and share the video.
